Our school cultivates students’ characters and virtues through morning assemblies, Life Education lessons and class teacher periods. We organize Moral Education Day at the beginning of the school term annually with diverse themes based on students’ respective needs. The Moral Education Day aims at to habituating virtuous traits and encouraging them to fulfill their own commitments through guest sharing and student leaders’ pledge to act sessions.

 

2016-2017 Moral Education Day

Moral Education Day launched with the theme ‘Activate Positive Thinking, Uplift the Power of Life’ My pledge to Act 2016, aiming at activating positive thinking, promoting students’ potentials and encouraging students to stride towards a meaningful life. Our honorable guest, Mr. Remus KWOK, the Inspector of the Positive Education Training and Study Team, also the Project Director (Students Development) of the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the City University of Hong Kong, graced the commencement of the event and gave an inspiring speech.

2015-2016 Moral Education Day

Moral Education Day launched with the theme “Explore the value of life and plan your ideal future”, encouraging students to understand the core value of life and hence wisely establish a plan for achieving their ideal future.

Our honorable guest, Ms. HO Kit-wah, the Principal Inspector (Guidance and Discipline) of the School Development and Administration Branch under Education Bureau, graced the commencement of the event and shared her thoughts on exploring and developing life goals.

 

Morning Assembly

Character education, Biblical truth sharing, Flag Raising Ceremony, civic education, Teachers’ Day celebration, birthday celebration for teachers, outstanding teacher appreciation and others.

24 Character Strengths — The strengths are introduced by all-round leaders

 

Rethinking Justice – Students are led by all-round leaders to think the meaning of justice and vice principal Mr. HUI Shing-yan gives a conclusion.

 

The Rule of Law – Alumnus TZE Chi-ho, who attained the Law degree from The University of Hong Kong explains the rule of law to students.

 

War and Peace – Renowned Asian female war correspondent and international pundit Ms. CHEUNG Chui-yung shares with students

 

Going Global Broadening Horizons – Alumnus Angus TSUI shares with students. Mr. TSUI mainly designs eco fashion. He finished further studies in London and created his own brand name.
