Sun Kei Secondary School’s Opening Ceremony was successfully held on 4 September 2023. The theme this year is “Connect with God and renew your life”. Through the Bible verse “When times are good, enjoy the good; when times are bad, consider”, Rev. CHOI Hong-yi, Colon, General Secretary of Asian Outreach Ltd., encouraged students to always have faith in Christ, and not to lose one’s joy when faced with life changes. Principal, Mr. HO Chun-yan, motivated students to welcome the new academic year with a positive attitude, and warmly introduced all teachers and staff; the hall was filled with harmony and joy.

Following closely was Sun Kei’s 25th Anniversary School Celebration segment. First, the emcee played a short film commemorating the anniversary. Then, a question-and-answer game and lucky draw were carried out, creating a lively atmosphere. At the end of the ceremony, the honoured guests and student leaders collectively popped balloons and, together with all teachers and students, read out the theme of the anniversary: "Innovate in Legacy, Renovate with Grace". This signified the official start of Sun Kei’s 25th Anniversary School Celebrations.
