CHAN Ching-yui, CHAN Nok-kan and CHU Wai-san from 4M won the Championship of Secondary School Category in the 4th Social Innovation Inventor Competition. They were awarded the Taiwan exchange tour for learning about environmental innovation.
Their design for Yau Tong Promenade is to combine Smart City and marine biodiversity through a wide wharf for the public to the Sai Kung Geopark with solar panels power generation trees, water screens and intelligent trash cans. The marine trash can be reproduced as art work to remind citizens to cherish and protect the marine environment.
