LAI Cheuk-kei Katy, Ning Qian Tehilla (5R) and Chan Ching-yui Joseph (5M), together with 3 students from the Netherlands, received the grand prize, the Best Sustainable Community Project Award in The Hong Kong-European Union School e-Learning Project “Green Living and Sustainability in the Community 2017”, with the project themed “Food: How can everybody act to alleviate the fake organic food problem?”.

Jointly organized by the European Union Academic Programme Hong Kong (EUAP) and the European Studies Programme of the HKBU, the project connected over 100 secondary students from 8 schools from Hong Kong, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. Students collaborate through ideas exchange and research on 4 topics including “Plastics & Recycling”, “Fashion: Labour & Toxic Issues”, “City: Urban Life & Green City” and “Food: Production & Consumption”.
