The LEGO Maker Lab Opening Ceremony cum World Robot Olympiad 2017 Hong Kong Robot Challenge was successfully held on 9th September 2017 at Christian and Missionary Alliance Sun Kei Secondary School. It was our greatest honour to join hand with Semia Limited, LEGO Education Official Units in Hong Kong in holding the captioned event and have Mr. Terence Chan, Secretary General of The Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong, officiate the Opening Ceremony cum Competition for us.

A series of fun and interactive events took place after the opening ceremony, including the WRO, the First Tech Challenge (FTC) Exhibition Game and Students’ Sharing, LEGO Maker Space, mBot Coding and Arduino Coding Workshop, Star Trail Photography, Solar Cell Workshop, and Sun Kei innovative science presentation (showcasing the projects “The Metamorphosis of Silkworm in Space” and “Sign-Translation Gloves”). The whole event has attracted participation of teachers and students from a wide range of schools and the atmosphere was ardent throughout.
