To uphold the Sun Kei Cultures of ‘Life-long Learning’ and ‘Strive for Excellence’, parents are encouraged to pursue lifelong learning, participate actively in parents’ talks and various home-school co-operation activities, so as to strengthen the effectiveness of cultivating children and to let them grow in a healthy manner. The ‘Parent Academy’ Programme has gained encouraging responses since its launch in 2012-2013 academic year. Over 1070 families have been commemorated. The programme will carry on this year with details as follows:
Details of the programme:
- S.1 to S.6 parents will gain credits when they attend or join the home-school activities. If there is more than one family member studying at our school, such credits will be counted towards the student at lower form. An aggregation of credits will result in the award of certificates of ‘Parent Academy’ Programme as encouragement, under the following criteria: (1) Basic Certificate [150 credits]; (2) Advanced Certificate [200 credits] and (3) Honourable Certificate [300 credits]. For those who receive the Honourable Certificate will also be awarded with trophies.
- The period of aggregation of credits is between 21/8/2021 and 9/6/2022.
