The annual Mathematics Day was held on January 28, 2026, under the theme “24 Game”, engaging students in a series of exciting activities that allowed them to explore the joy and wonders of mathematics through games.
During the morning assembly, students introduced the rules and problem-solving strategies of the “24 Game”, setting the stage for the day’s events. Following that, the highly anticipated “Junior Secondary Inter-class 24 Game Competition” took place, with representatives from each class competing in both intellect and speed, creating an electrifying atmosphere. A variety of game booths were also set up, including the “Rubik’s Cube SK Champion” testing speed and spatial awareness, the “Nim Game” challenging strategic thinking, the “Sudoku” game sharpening reasoning skills, and the ever-popular “Candy Guess” activity. All these attracted enthusiastic participation from students.
In addition, for the first time, the Mathematics Day collaborated with the school library to hold a “Math Books Showcase”, promoting the Mathematics Reading Scheme and broadening students’ understanding of mathematics beyond the classroom.
