Powerful Learning

Our school is committed to bringing STEAM education to all students. Here, students build a solid foundation in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. They are also encouraged to develop digital intelligence, logical thinking, creativity as well as collaboration skills and to put the spirit of science into practice when they explore STEAM education.

VISION

The Gifted Education Team aims to become an organization with effective framework for strategic planning and delivery of appropriate programmes to encourage and nurture gifted students in Sun Kei.

IMPLEMENTATION

Internally, we implement a three-tier gifted education model, it ensures synergy between different subjects’ gifted education initiatives, it consists of a diversified assessment mechanism, an auditing programme for S3 students, and an excellence scheme for senior students.

Externally, we proactively encourage the school’s gifted students to undertake different well-rounded trainings and participate in international competitions so that they could realize their full potential.

It is our school’s belief that “Reading Brings Wisdom, Reading Energises Our Lives” and we aim at promoting a reading-for-all atmosphere. Distant reading schemes and activities are organised to create/foster/cultivate an inviting reading aura on campus.

With the guidance of Student Librarians, Reading Angels and Reading Ambassadors, students can explore the joy of reading and achieve life-long reading.
