Parent-Teacher Association

About PTA

Christian and Missionary Alliance Sun Kei Secondary School Parent-Teacher Association was established in 2002. The Association aims to foster tight connections and communications between the school and parents so that family education and school education can coordinate as one to harvest the fruits of education. The Association proactively promotes parent education and optimises the school’s teaching environment. Such efforts are to advocate education excellence and support for the school in order to enhance students’ learning capability and cultivate their morality.

Message from the Chairperson

I would like to express my gratitude to God, the Principal, parents, and Parent-Teacher Association members, for all your trust in electing me as the Chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association for this term. I am truly honoured.

This year marks the 25th anniversary celebration of Sun Kei. In addition to the regular activities hosted by the Parent-Teacher Association, I also had the privilege of participating in the school’s special celebration events, including the Open Days and the 25th Anniversary Banquet. This has provided me with more opportunities to collaborate with enthusiastic teachers and parent volunteers, experiencing team spirit between our school and families. The joyful feelings felt are hard to come by in workplace settings.

The home-school partnership of Sun Kei is truly moving. Parent-Teacher Association members, parent volunteers, and families actively participate in each and every event, with registration often exceeding the available slots, and this demonstrates the strong passion and devotion the parents have for our school.

The successful organisation of various activities by the Parent-Teacher Association is all thanks to the trust and support from the Principal, three Vice Principals, department heads, and all teachers. Most importantly, it is attributed to the full support and enthusiastic participation of Parent-Teacher Association members and parent volunteers. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for your selfless contribution and devotion!

I hope that in the future, we can continue to strengthen home-school collaboration, foster closer connection and communication between parents and our school, and build a harmonious and joyful campus environment together for our children to grow and thrive.

The association plays a role of connecting school, alumni and students and hence to form a Sun Kei community and intensify reciprocal development.

Alumni and students are our significant partners in terms of enhancing school development. Therefore we actively promote vivid alumni community, as to strengthen our teaching environment, public image and academic status for qualified education.

Message from the Chairperson

Dear fellow alumni,

As the Chairperson of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Sun Kei Secondary School Alumni Association, I am honored to address you through this message.

Our alma mater has played an indispensable role in shaping who we are today. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated and passionate educators who have instilled in us sound values and principles, guiding us through the journey of life and empowering us with the confidence to pursue our goals. Over the years, our teachers have nurtured us with love and care, guiding us through our growth with the unwavering support of our Christian faith. As alumni, we have a responsibility to contribute back to our beloved school and to the development of the next generation of Sun Kei students.

The new Alumni Association will organise various activities to foster a sense of community among our alumni. We firmly believe that the diverse talents and expertise of our alumni can greatly benefit our school in return. Through providing more resources and support to our younger peers, we can ensure that the Sun Kei spirit continues to thrive long after graduation. We will actively organise a variety of events, including sports activities, mentorship programs, and alumni gatherings, to strengthen our bonds.

Looking ahead, I am excited about the future of our school and alumni association. Together, I believe we can continue to enrich the Sun Kei experience, fostering stronger connections among our teachers, alumni, and students. Let us work hand-in-hand to contribute to the growth and success of our alma mater. Thank you for your continued support to our alma mater and alumni association. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and to hearing about all of your accomplishments in the years to come.
