To strengthen students’ understanding of national security, deepen their knowledge of rule of law and national conditions, and emphasise the importance of national security, the National Education Talks were held on the 10th April.
We were honoured to invite two esteemed guests — Dr. LING Yu-shih, a Hong Kong Deputy to the National People’s Congress and an honorary research fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Research Centre for Contemporary Chinese Culture as the guest speaker for the junior forms, and Mr. Yeung Ching-loong, Alexander, JP, a Member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and the vice chairman of the Emperor Group for the senior forms. Both speakers delivered talks on historical and cultural preservation, as well as building soft power in various fields such as culture, education, and sports to foster national self-confidence.
