To raise awareness of global efforts in saving sight and preventing blindness, our school’s All Round Leaders Other Learning Experiences (OLE) team organized Orbis Day on 16th April, 2026. Through a series of activities and a charity sale, our school put Orbis’s vision of advancing ophthalmological medical care and promoting public eye health into practice.

On that day, a variety of meaningful activities were arranged on campus. The Obstacle Course allowed students to experience firsthand the visually impaired’s daily routine and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and inconveniences they face while navigating forward. The VR eye surgery simulation allowed students to understand the process of eye surgery through VR headsets. Additionally, a fundraising booth was set up at the covered playground, offering Orbis souvenirs and cookies freshly baked by the Home Economics Society. All raised funds will be donated to Orbis to support their mission of saving sight.
