The ‘HKU Engineering x TKOGSS Racing Cup 2025’ was jointly organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Hong Kong and the Tsueng Kwan O Government Secondary School. It aimed at promoting secondary school students’ interest in mechanical engineering and innovative technology. Four of our students actively participated in their workshop and training days. Through professional guidance and hands-on practice, they learnt how to operate and adjust model race cars as well as mechanical engineering knowledge. They broadened their horizon in the STEAM field and experienced the spirit of ‘revitalising the country through science and education’.

In the ‘Racing Cup’ competition on 18th January 2026, the Sun Kei team won the ‘Exterior Design Award’ with their outstanding creativity and design. The award-winning students are as follows:
