The Preliminary Round of the Hong Kong InnoHealth Cup Project Showcase Expo, which was organised by the HKU LKS Faculty of Medicine and Hong Kong Subsidized Secondary Schools Council, was held on 12 April. Under the supervision of Mr. YEUNG Ho-lun, 3 of our S.5 students participated in the competition as a research team. Through their research topic ‘FALLING STARS – LIGHTING THE WAY BACK FROM SPACE OIL’, they analysed the potential hazards of ‘space oil’ to teenage communities with reference to epidemiological data, hence developing an application to deter teenagers from falling into the ‘space oil’ trap.
